It's been snowing quite a bit last week So I decided to take my camera and my partner out for a walk. I did feel a bit rusty about camera settings and editing since it has been a while but I had lots of fun regardless!

Enjoy the first post on this webbed site!

A small lass jar with droplets hangs on a textured sandstone wall, illuminated by sunlight. Background shows faint trees against a clear sky as well as the blurry dark silhouette of a house.
Randomly saw this little jar affixed to a wall - I wonder if someone puts a little candle in it when it gets dark?

Ahalf-timbered house with a snow-dusted roof, sun shining on it. the timber looks yellow, below you can see sandstone and a green door. A vintage lamp is attached to the wall. Clear blue sky, trees and another snow-dusted roof in the background.
Immense love for (half-)timbered houses.

Photograph of the green copper roof of a modern church, the northern side still covered in snow. There is a small, also copper green, spire poking up from beside the roof with a tip with two golden crosses. the church's body is made from concrete and the walls are made up entirely of individual clear glass bricks that are separated form each other by concrete.
Glass bricks <3

Iron tavern sign with German text "Einkehr zum Hammer," featuring an 8-pointed star, mug, and tools. Sky and bare trees in the background.
"Einkehr zum Hammer"
Small stone shed with a tiled roof in a snowy landscape. Bare trees and clear blue sky in the background. In front of is there's a snow on the ground, shadows apearing blue.
Little sandstone shed
Old window with frosted glass, shows shadowy tree branches outside. Warm glow reflects inside.
Love this little hundreds of years old window.
half of a bench that is a combination of wood and concrete is visible in this photo. it stands in a snowy landscape, but grass and dirt anre visible underneath the seat of the bench. the concrete is slightly green from moss
Spring creeping up under the bench
Churning river waters with ripples reflect the sky, bordered by a rocky riverbank at the top of the image
Nothing quite like looking at flowing water and just listening to it rush past
Close-up of red autumn leaves covered with snow on a branch, with a blurred snowy background.
The combination of snow, red leaves and the orange of the setting sun made me so happy here
In the blue sky there's an airplane visible, dragging a white trail behind is roughly from the left bottom corner to the top right corner. in front of the train is a bare tree that is slightly illuminated by orange sunset light.
At this point we were both getting very cold as the sun was setting but I had to get a picture of the airplane trails behind the tree

Upside down view of a few trees reflexted in churning river water
I just looove reflections.
A small, snaking trail in the snow, bordered by bricks, showing people's boot's footsteps in the snow
Barefoot trail, only for the very bravest in winter

Sanstone ruins, letting in light through windows and doorways, making the snow sparkle where the sun hits
Tavern ruins
Close-up of snow, blades of grass poking through it, sun shining on it making the snow glitter. there's trails from sleds and indents from people's footsteps in the snow, shadow making them appear blue.
Glittering!!

diagonal view of a bench with snow on it and small dog paw prints in the snow
Paw prints

That's all, folks!

Wasn't really sure how to make a blog post about just going on a walk, but I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures lol.

Have a good one!!
